Our Mission
CIRC C.I.C. exists to strengthen community integration, social inclusion and opportunity by helping migrants, internationally qualified professionals and other people experiencing disadvantage to build connections, overcome barriers and participate more fully in their communities.
We create trusted pathways between individuals, communities, employers, services and opportunities.
Our approach recognises that employment, financial stability, wellbeing, confidence, social connection and belonging are often interconnected. We therefore work alongside communities to help people develop the knowledge, relationships and opportunities they need to build sustainable and fulfilling lives.
Our ambition is to create communities where people from different backgrounds can come together, contribute, access opportunities and feel that they belong.
Men’s Mental Health Seminar: The Conversation Continues
CIRC’s inaugural Men’s Mental Health Seminar brought civic leaders, health professionals, community organisations and people with lived experience together in Wolverhampton for honest conversations about stigma, early help-seeking and practical support. The day also launched the CIRC Men’s Wellbeing Network and generated new offers of training, mentoring and partnership support.

Empowering Migrant Workers to Succeed
Who We Support
CIRC C.I.C. primarily supports migrants, internationally qualified professionals, people from ethnic minority communities and others experiencing barriers to integration, opportunity and participation in community life.
Our work particularly seeks to reach people experiencing poverty, disadvantage, discrimination or social isolation, including people who are:

unemployed, underemployed or working below their skills and qualifications;

experiencing financial hardship or insecure circumstances;

socially isolated or without established support networks;

unfamiliar with UK services, employment systems or community resources;

experiencing barriers to education, training or professional development;

struggling to make effective use of qualifications or experience gained overseas;

experiencing cultural, communication or confidence barriers;

finding it difficult to access appropriate services and opportunities.
Our principal focus is the West Midlands, particularly Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Sandwell and Birmingham.
Although migrant and diverse communities are central to our work, CIRC promotes integration as a two-way process. We therefore create opportunities that bring migrant communities, established residents, employers, community organisations and public services together.
Our aim is to help people move from isolation towards connection, from uncertainty towards confidence and from disadvantage towards greater opportunity, participation and belonging.

We advocate for legislative changes and streamlined registration processes to reduce systemic barriers for migrant workers including carers / support workers, nurses, doctors and others entering the UK healthcare sector.

Our 2026 data-driven research provides critical insights into the professional integration and economic contributions of skilled migrants within the UK labour market.
